I year, Undergraduate Scholar

How has the MAOP program impacted you directly?

It has helped me connect with other students and learn more about programs and possibilities within the university.  Importantly, it helped me  develop skills I need for life, such as the seminars on interviewing techniques or encouraging me to join a professional club.

What advice would you give to the current students at Virginia Tech?

Use your summers to get as much experience as possible outside of Blacksburg.  Study Abroad, find an amazing internship, take classes at a different University, volunteer.  Do anything and everything to make yourself a more interesting person to employers and your peers.
