UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARS PROGRAM

The Undergraduate Scholars program provides financial assistance to undergraduate students from Virginia who demonstrate a commitment to academic achievement and community stewardship. In exchange for financial support, Undergraduate Scholars must participate in "family" meetings to share ideas and experiences with other MAOP participants. Undergraduate Scholars may be called upon to assist with Peer Mentoring after their freshman year.

Undergraduate Scholars attend personal and academic growth seminars designed to help students understand their role in the greater community, expand upon their appreciation for multiculturalism, and to achieve their academic goals. Students are also encouraged to consider the option of post-baccalaureate study.

The Undergraduate Scholars Program offers awards ranging from $500.00 to $5,000.00 for Virginia residents.
